Mount Yeranos is located near Yerevan, on the border of Kotayk and Ararat regions. The height of the mountain is 1823 meters and it is clearly visible from many districts of the capital of Armenia. The Yeranos ridge offers a beautiful view of the Azat reservoir, the Geghama range, the Ararat and Aragats mountains. The unusual colors and beautiful rocks of the Yeranos range attract many mountain lovers to these places. It is here that the famous Pink Gorge is located, where you can find real minerals-dendrites with prints resembling the leaves of ancient plants.
