Hot soup. There's nothing better than a sip of hot soup after a long, exhausting hike, especially in the cool Armenian weather. That’s why we always offer hot soup at the end of our hikes. Sometimes it’s borscht, pho, solyanka, or chicken soup, and for vegetarians — lentil, pea, mushroom, pumpkin soup, and more.
Cheese platter. We’ve selected the finest cheeses made in Armenia. Our cheese platter usually includes gouda, smoked chechil, chanakh, lori, and sometimes rezhan.
Appetizers. While the soup is heating up, we offer our guests a selection of appetizers: meat rolls, boiled corn, pancakes, mini pizzas, and more.
Hummus. Our clients, especially vegetarians, love the fresh hummus served with matnakash bread and herbs.
Herbs. An Armenian table is incomplete without a variety of fresh herbs that grow in Armenia: cilantro, tarragon, parsley, green onions, dill, arugula, and basil. We also add red radishes, cucumbers, and tomatoes.
Lavash and Matnakash. Soup and appetizers are incomplete without bread—it helps restore the carbohydrates lost during the hike. With borscht, we also serve Borodinsky bread, and with pea soup, lentil soup, or pumpkin soup, we offer croutons.
Fruits. One of the most delightful moments of a picnic is choosing from a variety of fruits. Armenia is rich in fruits, especially in summer and autumn. Our fruit basket usually includes seasonal treats such as berries, grapes, pomegranates, apricots, peaches, melon, watermelon, figs, and plums—depending on the season.
Dessert. Traditionally, we serve a classic apple cake or "sharlotka" at each of our picnics. Aside from it, we also bake homemade cupcakes—banana, chocolate, and Russian raisin cakes—for a sweet finish.
Freshly brewed coffee and herbal mountain tea. There’s nothing better than the taste of coffee or herbal mountain tea, especially in nature. It’s one of the most enjoyable moments after completing a hike.
