Trchkan Waterfall is located near the village of Shirakamut on the Chichkhan River and is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Armenia. The waterfall stands over 23 meters high and is one of the country’s main natural attractions. In winter, Trchkan freezes and becomes even more stunning — during this season, nature lovers flock to the waterfall to enjoy the beauty of the icy cascade.
In the winter months, the frozen Trchkan Waterfall becomes a popular spot for ice climbing. On this day, we will hike to the waterfall and take part in an ice climbing ascent under the guidance of professional instructors — a safe and thrilling way to experience this impressive natural landmark from a completely new perspective.

- Master front-pointing, French technique, and German technique of movement.
- Understand belaying, self-belaying, and working with carabiners.
