The Pambak range is one of the largest mountain ranges in Armenia, and the highest peak is Mount Tezh (3,101 m), which is located in the center of the range. Other famous peaks include Ampasar Mountain (3,053 m), Khaghkhag Mountain (3,044 m), Gomasar Mountain (2,885 m), Pakhakasar Mountain (2,891 m), Kamar Mountain (2,738 m), Tsilkar Mountain (2,558 m) and Kharsnakar Mountain (2,483 m). The Tsakhkunyats and Arjanots mountains form the main branches of the mountain range.
