Armenia is a land of ancient monasteries, towering mountains, and deep canyons. In the south, the landscape becomes even wilder and more dramatic. This is Syunik — a region of high peaks, red canyons, and ancient mountain trails, where every step feels like a true adventure.

Our Meghri–Tatev trek is a week-long journey through one of the most scenic sections of the Transcaucasian Trail in southern Armenia. This route is designed for those who love real mountains, adventure, and untouched nature.

Before the trek begins, we will visit Meghri — the southernmost town of Armenia, known for its warm climate, pomegranate wine, and breathtaking views. From there, we will head north along mountain ridges and alpine meadows toward Mount Bagatsar (3,249 m) and Mount Khustup (3,206 m) — two of the highest and most iconic peaks in southern Armenia. We will spend the night near the summit, where stunning views open over the town of Kapan and the Zangezur Range.

The next day, we continue toward Mount Kambakh (2,971 m), crossing untouched landscapes and hidden trails rarely visited by travelers, before descending by evening to the ancient village of Bekh.
As we move deeper into the mountains, we will follow the Trail of Legends to the magnificent Tatev Monastery, perched above the Vorotan River canyon.

Our journey concludes in the town of Goris, known for its cave dwellings, rock formations, and suspension bridge.

We invite you to join this journey through southern Armenia — an experience that will stay in your heart for a lifetime.
