Mount Aragats is the highest peak in Armenia and one of the most important mountain systems in the region, with a volcanic origin. Located in western Armenia, it has four summits and is a significant natural and cultural symbol of the country. The North Summit is the highest and most difficult to climb, reaching 4,090 meters.
