Mount Aragats is the highest peak in Armenia and one of the most important mountain systems in the region, with a volcanic origin. Located in western Armenia, it has four summits and is a significant natural and cultural symbol of the country. The North Summit is the highest and most difficult to climb, reaching 4,090 meters. The slopes of Aragats are home to many natural attractions and historical sites, including fortresses, lakes, caves, and ancient monuments. Mount Aragats also offers unique opportunities for mountaineers and outdoor enthusiasts, while its majestic landscapes impress everyone who visits this region.
Why should I go on this hike
- We will climb the North peak (4,090 m) of Mount Aragats, the highest point in Armenia.
- We will climb the East peak of Mount Aragats (3,916 m).

We will have lunch at the summit, with a beautiful view of Ararat, Hatis, and other mountains.
- We will see Lake Kari, a mountain lake.
