Mount Miapor is located on the border of the Gegharkunik and Tavush regions of Armenia, approximately 5 km north of the village of Martuni. The Miapor mountain range stretches for about 54 km to the northwest, extending from the confluence of the Aghstev and Getik rivers to the summit of Mount Kashatagh in the southeast.
Mount Miapor, with an elevation of 2,993 meters, is the highest peak of the Miapor Range. Its western and southern slopes are steep, in contrast to the gentler eastern slopes. Below 2,000 meters, the terrain is covered with dense forests, while higher elevations feature almost alpine meadows. The southwestern part connects to the Dilijan National Park, known for its abundant water springs.
