Hiking to Amberd Fortress and Armenian Khash

A hike to Amberd Fortress on the slopes of Mount Aragats is a perfect blend of nature, history, and traditional Armenian culture.

Amberd Fortress is situated at an altitude of 2,300 meters on the southern slope of Mount Aragats and stands as a unique architectural monument.

After the hike, we will enjoy dinner at an Armenian restaurant, featuring khash as the main dish—a rich, hearty broth made from beef feet, served with lavash, garlic, and fresh greens during the cold season. Khash is a significant part of Armenia's centuries-old culinary tradition and is the perfect way to recharge after an active day.
