Climbing Mounts Kablar and Ovčar is a scenic route in central Serbia, famous for its breathtaking panoramas and thermal springs. From the trail to Mount Kablar (889 m), hikers can enjoy stunning views of the winding West Morava River and Mount Ovčar (985 m) on the opposite bank. This area is often called the "Serbian Athos" because of the more than 10 medieval monasteries located on the slopes of both mountains.
After the hike, participants can relax and rejuvenate in the thermal springs of Ovčar Banja, located nearby. Hikers can choose to climb only Mount Kablar (10 km, light+ difficulty) or both mountains (20 km, moderate difficulty).
