Gutanasar is a volcanic mountain located in the Kotayk province, near the village of Fantan, with an elevation of 2299.6 meters. Recently, Gutanasar has become quite popular among tourists due to its unusual black volcanic lava, which rises over 10 meters high and serves as a perfect spot for photos. We also love this place very much, so our last hike of the year will take us to Gutanasar!
Mountain peaks, white snow, delicious mandarins, traditional Olivier salad, and a festive mood – all of this and more awaits the participants of our New Year’s hike!
And most importantly: we will return to Yerevan not too late, so you will have time to rest and get ready to celebrate the New Year!
Why should I go on this hike
We will visit the famous frozen black lava of Mount Gutanasar and take Instagram-worthy photos against the backdrop of this natural wonder.

At the end of the hike, a festive dinner will await us.
We will return to Yerevan not too late, so you’ll have time to rest and get ready for the New Year.
