We invite children and parents on a light and engaging family hike through the picturesque Azat River Gorge!
It will be a short and easy route specially chosen for kids. Along the way, we’ll enjoy beautiful autumn trails, fresh air, and stunning views of the Garni Temple - the only preserved pagan temple in Armenia. We’ll also descend into the gorge to see one of the most amazing natural wonders - the Symphony of Stones, where basalt columns look like giant organ pipes created by nature itself.
During the hike, we’ll tell children fascinating legends about the Garni Temple and share interesting facts about the volcanic origin of these stone columns. The kids will play themed games and learn to notice the beauty of the world around them.
At the end of the hike, we plan to make a campfire where children can roast marshmallows under the instructor’s supervision.
The route is ideal for children aged 6 and up.
