Ararat Valley is a region in Armenia situated at the foot of Mount Ararat. Known as the agricultural hub of Armenia, this area has also witnessed numerous archaeological discoveries. Mount Ararat, visible from almost any point in the Ararat Valley, stands as a symbol of Armenian identity. Tourists and pilgrims visit this region for its historical and natural landmarks.

Why should I go on this hike
We will visit the archaeological excavations of the ancient capital of Armenia, the city of Dvin. Currently, archaeological excavations are underway in this historical site.
We will stroll through the apple, grapes, apricot and peach orchards.
We will climb Ilkasar, one of the highest mountains in the Ararat Valley, offering a breathtaking view of Mount Ararat.
Delicious coffee and snacks on the route.

We'll have a rest at the ruins of the fortress with an excellent view of the Ararat Valley.

We will hike along the beautiful Angel's Canyon.

We will take many photos and enjoy conversations.
We will try the water from the mineral spring.
Dinner in nature with hot soup, coffee, and tea made from mountain herbs.
Before returning to Yerevan, we will visit the monastery of Khor Virap to witness the evening view of Mount Ararat.
We will learn about the history of the ancient capitals of Armenia, the cities of Artashat and Dvin.
