The Pambak Range is one of the largest mountain ranges in Armenia, and its highest peak is Mount Tezh (3,101 m), located in the center of the range. Other notable peaks include Mount Ampasar (3,053 m), Mount Khaghkhagh (3,044 m), Mount Gomasar (2,885 m), Mount Pahakasar (2,891 m), Mount Kamar (2,738 m), Mount Tsilkar (2,558 m), and Mount Harsnakar (2,483 m). The Tsaghkunyats and Arjanots mountains form the main branches of the range.

In spring and early summer, these mountains are especially beautiful thanks to the blooming of rhododendrons. In Armenia, a rare species—the Caucasian rhododendron—can be found, covering the high-altitude slopes with delicate white flowers and creating truly fairy-tale landscapes.
