Mount Mets Maymekh is one of the peaks of the Areguni mountain range and is located in the Tavush region near the city of Dilijan. The height of the mountain is 2,642 meters, and from its top there are impressive views of Lake Sevan and Dilijan. At the foot of the Metz Maymekh mountain there is one of the villages of Russian Old Believers-Molokan, where you can still see traditional houses. In spring and early summer, many flowers and mountain medicinal herbs can be seen on Mount Metz Maymekh. Not far from the mountain there is a road tunnel that connects the Gegharkunik and Tavush regions of Armenia.
