The slopes of Mount Khustup are home to rare species of animals and birds, as well as unique plants, many of which are listed in the Red Book of Armenia.
The mountain is a popular destination for mountaineers and tourists. The climbing route to Khustup is not too difficult but very scenic, attracting outdoor enthusiasts from all over the world.
Meeting the dawn high in the mountains (you can get up early and meet the dawn at the top)

Day 1
✓ Transfer from Yerevan to Kapan by comfortable minibus
✓ Visit to the city of Kapan. Walk through the city center, offering a view of Mount Khustup
✓ Transport of heavy items to the site of our future camp
✓ Trekking through the forest to the mountain village of Navcha, where we will replenish our water supplies and rest
✓ Ascent to Mount Khustup along a picturesque trail that passes through clouds and fields of large red poppies
✓ View of the Meghri and Zangezur mountain ranges, as well as the second highest mountain in Armenia - Kapujukh
✓ Photoshoot above the clouds at the summit of Mount Khustup, where we will watch the sunset
✓ Setting up camp
✓ Dinner, conversations by the campfire
✓ Stargazing: we will see the most prominent band of our galaxy - the Milky Way - and its center, the Andromeda galaxy, the closest galaxy to Earth, thousands of bright stars, dozens of constellations, and, of course, the North Star
✓ Overnight in tents
Day 2
✓ Sunrise in the mountains (you can wake up early and watch the sunrise from the summit)
✓ Breakfast at the camp
✓ Walk along the beautiful mountain ridge, where you can encounter wild mountain goats and hares
✓ Ascent to Mount Kambakh, offering a magnificent view of the Khustup and Aramazd mountains
✓ Trekking along the famous Trail of Legends, where many interesting sights await us
✓ Walk through a Syunik mountain village
✓ Visit to the Vorotnavank Monastery and hot springs (those who wish can take a dip in them)
