Days 1–4: Trek to Geghama Ridge
We begin our multi-day adventure into the Geghama Mountains, a remote volcanic range filled with stunning natural beauty. Over these four days, we’ll hike through high-altitude meadows, ancient lava fields, and peaceful plateaus. Along the way, we’ll climb Mt. Azhdahak (3,597 m) and see its beautiful crater lake, with wide views of the surrounding peaks. We’ll also pass by other volcanic lakes like Lake Akna and Lake Vanki, camp under the stars, and enjoy the fresh mountain air. This part of the journey is a true escape into wild Armenia.
