Gutanasar - a volcanic mountain located in the Kotayk province, near the village of Fantan. Beneath the mountain lies the Surb Astvatsatsin Church. Gutanasar is known as one of the primary sources of obsidian found at archaeological sites throughout Armenia. Nearby settlements include Fantan and Alapars, and this volcano stands as a prominent feature in the volcanic region of the Geghama Mountains.
At the summit of Gutanasar, visitors are treated to breathtaking views of the Geghama Mountains, with slopes adorned in colorful flowers. Additionally, a small lake forms in the spring and summer, adding to the natural beauty of the area.
